The Burden of Being only Educated Person in a Family

In India, Your understanding of the society is profoundly depend on the understanding of your parents and their educational qualification and socio-economic status. 

And, it forms a sequence of parents and their progeny of understanding of society through their educational and socio-economic level. 

So if your parents are from low socio-economic backgrounds eventually their understanding of society gets limited because most of the time at their productive age had gone into survival i.e. acquiring money only to get food, clothes and shelter and not getting enough education and hence your understanding will also get affect.

In India parents play an important role to shape a person’s intellectual ability, most of their views socially and politically inclined with the views of their parents. i.e. if a parent hate some community this hatred will pass on to it’s progeny.

Why? 

Because in India from the very early foundational age as a student taught not to question the authorities and blindly follow and do the work, that’s why you see many children posses a limited understanding of society like their parents do and barely questions the authority.

Now, Imagine you belong to a family of low socio-economic status but somehow acquired knowledge because of your hardwork and love for education, but your family remain to have a orthodoxical view of society, so does your neighbours, your friends, your relatives just everyone that you know in your social circle.

Now, what will you do? Will you question them? Would you alienate yourself from everyone? Will you just run away from everyone?

Or

 Will you blend in them? Irrespective of your knowledge? Will you blindly follow everyone? Won’t you have enough courage to question them?

The quality of a citizen depend on the quality of education that nation produce, In India sadly or education system is worse comparing with other nation.

This create variance with the people who have enough money and resources to educate their children and those who cannot.

Often you notice most of your neighbors who have enough resources mostly their children in some point of time move to different country for better education, and you will also see that their views and knowledge will only get better. and who doesn’t want better opportunity if one can afford?
